Trip 4 Day 15 Kumbhalgarh
I woke up at 4:30 today. Earliest in past 6 months. I woke up the Tiago and Katrina. By 5 we left the place to the bus stand.
It took half an hour to reach the bus stop. A tempo was tried to mislead us by telling to board into the bus from Chetak Circle(from where we came).
The bus stand was inward and in dark it was not visible. When it is all board we stepped up and luckily got the seat.
It was Digvijay idea to board into the first bus so as to give more time to Kumbhalgarh. These two people slept while I couldn't.
The bus dropped us 7km before Kumbhalgarh at 7:30 am. There will be a different bus to Kumbhalgarh.
While I wanted to have breakfast it is mandatory for me, but they're not interested. Though we all did.
Later we board to a bus to Kumbhalgarh and then a kilometre walk to the fort. The atmosphere was chilled.
These people were absurd. While I kept trying to talk to them but newton's third law failed. No reaction to talks.
I had a sense of how the day will go. All of sudden Lucas said I think I've already been here 2 years back.
Insincerity? When you don't even remember the places you have been?
Soon we reached the ticket counter and entered the fort. It is on low maintenance and it shows. The Palace has nothing to see.
No guidelines anywhere what the room or hall was exactly for. At a certain point, we separated while I take time wherever I visit.
I get in the state of absorption. While they might have got down I came a lil late searching them and clicking pictures of the fort from different angles.
I reached near the temple saw them waiting for me. We moved towards the fort wall. Kumbhalgarh wall is the second largest wall of 38km behind the Great wall of China.
After every 200m I looked back and clicked pictures of Fort. After a certain distance, Tiago and Katrina went back.
While I crossed the barrier to go further and reached at a point from where the top of the palace and my position we're head to head.
This picture is what I wanted. They have already made me realized the worst day of travelling so I decided to tell them this is it for me together. Abominable?
We again met at the exit and u told what going in my brain. There is a jungle trek which we could have done(i could have done alone) if there is time. We headed back towards Kelwar.
They wanted to go to a pond which laid in between the road to Kelwar. It is known as a fish-eye pond. We had samosa at a shop nearby after reaching.
And they wanted to do hitchhiking now. I told them it is a rural area here hitchhiking is not possible for 3 people.
No one will be going to Udaipur or even a half to halfway by car or Lawry. I took half an hour to make them understand this.
Now they have to board to the bus before we get not seats to sit. We reached Ashok road Udaipur. They will have dinner at any restaurant today.
While I and Digvijay hang out around, though he is a foodie so he took me to Bhelpuri thela followed by Chola Bhatura, sugarcane juice, I've cream.
