Trip 4 Day 6 Pushkar

I am in Jaipur Today. I knew I've to move to Pushkar and Ajmer. Despite all this, it all went in late sleep.

But still, I woke up early at 7 in the morning. Hariom reached a few hours before. Without disturbing his sleep I freshened up and got ready in quick minutes.

Woke him up, he was surprised how quickly I dressed up and also how sooner I'm leaving his apartment.

I think he wanted me to stay more but I'd like to go further. The start was not good though but I got a good kick a few days ago meeting community friends again boosted my confidence which helped.

Hired a motorbike and reached the station to board at 10:40 train to Ajmer. While the train took less time to reach Ajmer.

Submitted my bag in the cloakroom and had breakfast at platform no 2 which I found cleaner than the one outside of the railway station.

It is important that you should not get into the trap of auto wallas in India anywhere.

This is what happened here, an autowala just chased me a long way, but I didn't respond to this he got frustrated and left. Well, there is no solution talking to them when I don't want to board or I can hitchhike.

I took public tempo and reached the circle from where I can get the bus to Pushkar. The bus was on the doors about to depart.

While I choose the corner window seat. A pandit came and sat next to me. Started asking many questions like who I'm? what do I do? Why did you quit the job? Go and join again.

But he was so impressed that at last he ended up taking my cellular no and invited me to the party in Pushkar.

He got delighted when I told that I'm a Brahmin boy. In India, all this matters a lot.

I reached Pushkar and was the last one to get down from Bus(lazy fellow). Roamed around doing some window shopping and searching for Brahma Temple.

This is the only Brahma Temple in the world still Lord Brahma is not worshipped here due to curse. But it is closed now and will open at 3 pm.

Till the time I'd my lunch nearby restaurant near to parking and the food was delicious. One dal, one sabzi, salad and chapattis as much as you can.

I submitted my bag and shoes which were for free to submit and do Darshan.

But I was extreme I not only did Darshan but went on to go further to a Sarovar which is said that the lady took place here organised by Lord Brahma with Saraswati he did so when Savitri Devi failed to reach on time.

And it was or decided that Brahma and Savitri will do the Yagy together. To this, in anger, she gave a curse to Brahma that he'll never be worshipped anywhere.

It would be more beautiful in the evening than in the afternoon. While my bag was still submitted.

When I came to receive the bag he said it was only Darshan not for Pushkar tour. I can't do anything except sarcastically smiling and left the shop.

By now it was 4 pm and there was not much to do in Pushkar. While going back to Ajmer I thought to go around and reached the backside of the Brahma Temple and saw Savitri Devi temple at the top of the cliff.

But still, I was not willing to go but I started walking towards the cliff.

In a mid way, I saw an under-construction house which was empty as well. Beside the house put my wet clothes to dry before sunset.

It was hardly an hour walking to the cliff from the ropeway and I took 20 minutes from bottom to reach the temple. Ropeway drops down Passenger in 10 minutes. 10 minutes less than a fit person.

While coming back I saw the sunset from the cliff, I diverted my route towards the back region of the plateau.

There were plenty of people sitting witnessing sunset there and as the sun dipped they left for their hostels, hotels.

I met Katrina a Brazilian girl who is on vacation to India and when I told about me she got more surprised.

And her reaction surprised me too. She was with the group to which I assumed that they are all together which was later cleared over tea we all met at the top.

They're fond of tea but I'm lesser. Not hygienic for me. I could have joined them but our paths were different coz my clothes were drying beside the under-construction house.

Reaching the market I tried going out of it from where I entered in the morning but lost in mid. Hitchhiked and reached the market area followed by Bus stand.

Unfortunately, there was no bus and my plan was to board a train from Ajmer to Jaipur. But later I checked that there is a train at 12 am to Bikaner my next destination.

So I hitchhiked till Ajmer in three parts. Took some pictures in mid and left for famous Ajmer Sharif. By the time I reached it was closed at 9 pm. Some suggested coming early morning.

I had no extra day here so went back to the railway station and waited for the train. By the time I was exhausted coz, I walked down a lot today with one time lunch and I can barely see any food resort in the railway station. So bought some biscuits and snacks.

The train arrived at 12 and there was hardly any space inside it. So I choose the luggage room to spend the night and reach Bikaner.
