Trip 4 Day 5 Jaipur

After spending a vacation at home waking up late in the morning is becoming a habit. Which I need to change to give more time to travelling.

A bed in the morning and that was enough. My community friend has a plan for me.

He told me not to miss Narahgarh Fort which I also wished to go but due to less time, I'd remove it from my checklist. His younger brother took me to Nahargarh Fort.

The palace inside the Fort was worth watching which has great paintings by old generation painters as well as new generation painters in their own style.

Craftwork can be seen here widely. Decoration at the fort was worthy except those stones which were lying down on verandah.

Kali Burji is a spot from Where one can see Jaipur city from any direction.

This Fort seems to be renovated many times which gives a message that how aware is Rajasthan government for their ruins places which can help them bring more Tourism.

At the entrance gate of Fort, a huge Bawli was constructed in the early days of Kingdom. This Bawli was deep and few scenes of Rang de Basanti have been shot here.

There was another Bowli which was located in front of the Palace. Seems to be older than the one outside.

I was riding so the important time I saved trekking up the Fort by bike which could end in exhaustion and time-taking as well.

While returning back to Malviya Nagar I have been driven to Sun Temple by my fellow traveller friend where Abhilash and friend Praveen met.

To the other side of the platue, there is the famous Monkey Temple which was overcrowded today due to Mahashivratri. Mahashivratri is the Hindu festival which is celebrated on the occasion of Lord Shiva marriage anniversary across India. While other days the temple is a lonely place to visit. Foreigners are charged ₹150/person. When I visited there were more humans that day than the monkey. The temple is located on a huge campus. Today it converted into human temple instead of monkey temple. There were several food stalls, bhang stalls for today organized by royal families for the local crowd. I took a jug of bhang to drink. It was an awesome experience being here.

We left the place around 4 pm and reached a known shop of Abhilash to get the student id. Tripling on the bike(high risk-taking in Jaipur), while I was like a tomato between the two as a sandwich pissed. Reached his home had dinner and by 8 pm I left for Vaishali. Reached Hariom's house ate again and slept late at night.
