Trip 4 Day 2 Jaipur

After enough of rest and sleep, I woke up late in the morning. My friend after doing a night shift came back and slept.

I slowly freshened up and woke him up to eat together. By the half past 11, I left home for Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Narahgjar Fort.

Boarded a bus from Karni Palace to New Gate and after few meters walk, I saw what I used to see in books, Hawa Mahal.

It was mesmerizing. Not only from outside. Soon I found a way through the gully to inside the Mahal.

I reached the lawn now and saw a queue here for tickets. However, the student ticket fair was very low.

To this, I started searching my college id but it was only valid up to 2016. I kept it back in my wallet and paid the normal adult price for Indian ticket.

After ticket checking, I got inside and saw a fountain which was adding beauty to Mahal. I reached directly to the first floor and found a corner to relax for some time.

Then I started and roamed, clicked some pictures of Hawa Mahal. Security was very tight which I was witnessing something for the very first time.

Had been to so many monuments or heritage but here the security was high so that people cannot harm historical place.

I reached the top of the Hawa Mahal and found that Jantar Mantar is just behind at the backyard.

Jantar Mantar is a scientific place got its name registered in Guinness Books of World Record for telling accurate time by instruments installed there.

Clicked some pictures from the top and came down and made an exit from Hawa Mahal.

While heading towards Jantar Mantar I noticed samosa shop. Going through the gullies I reached Jantar Mantar. Took ticket and got inside.

Jantar Mantar is a must visiting place one should come here and see how brilliantly the King installed the instruments to see the time, eclipse, celestial bodies, zodiac signs.

Also, it is in Guinness Books of World Records about giving accurate time. Took many pictures and understood almost all the instruments.

I got a call from the travel community to meet a traveller from Jamnagar. I ate samosa and Shasta at the shop.

Which tasted very ill in itself due to which I've to throw the rest. Stomach started aching.

I walked through the lanes and reached Albert Hall within half an hour. While clicking some pictures in noticed I click pictures when the traffic was still.

An inspector ran screaming towards me why I stepped down from footpath to the road for taking pics of Hall. He pushed me back. In actually I broke the protocol.

I waited there for a few minutes to see who will pass from that path and found Governor or IAS  convoy passing. I went back to Hawa Mahal and met another traveller who belongs to Jamnagar.

She narrated her story about how males have approached her from the community while I got no response. This was not shocking for me.

Being unaware of that Bus services stop at 8 unofficially (when they feel like they shut down) officially it is 9. So I waited for Bus at Sanganeri Gate after walking down from Pink City.

But got no bus after a long wait. Walked a bit more and booked Rapido at Ajmeri Gate. The driver picked me up and introduced himself, told me about his Kanpur connection. I reached Vaishali by nine past thirty ate and slept.
