Trip 4 Day 13 Jodhpur

I've to leave for Udaipur today. Mahesh Ji had to leave early today but changes in the plan so he will leave at 10 am.

I prefer to train to travel from one city to another. There is no direct train between Jodhpur and Udaipur due to mountains.

A community guy wanted to meet me before I leave for Udaipur. Goodbye from Mahesh and left to meet Adit.

I booked a rental bike and reached Jalori gate, the rider was a bit late to come to receive me. From Jalori gate Adit picked me and drove me up to the hills to gate ho 2 of the Fort.

From here I can see the blue city. Jodhpur is actually known for blue houses. But over the years people have painted other than blue.

Again on government request, people are starting to paint it Blue. So I can see some blue houses.

This boy is just 22 in numbers and he made me climb to the top of the hill with the rucksack bag. I was getting fumed over him for this activity.

A person should think what a traveller goes through. This is the difference when you don't travel so you cannot understand what it feels like.

I literally wanted to give my bag to him and could ask him now please you climb with my 12kg bag on your back? He brought me where there were the trees of Rudraksha.

I plucked one. He told about his travel around India. And in a compliant manner raised a question why I'm travelling in a hot climate.

I didn't expect such a question from any community person and the weather is between 20-30. I couldn't reply.

Clicked a few pictures of the city from the top and thinking this is the last time I'm seeing Jodhpur from the hill.

It is a final goodbye from me. I reached down the road, he drove me back to Jalori gate. He knew my mood was not fine with his stupidity act.

He silently left the place, which is better for him. Dropped me in front of the powerhouse where I sat.

When I found the operator of the powerhouse suspicious I quickly left. The operator was insisting me again and again to drink water.

Psychologically his brown eyes were making him more suspicious. I started enquiring for Bus stand for Udaipur from strangers.

With no money in pocket firstly I searched ATM. I have to walk a half kilometre of distance to withdraw money. It is for 12 pm now and I am hungry.

I didn't have a meal in the morning. Climbing with a bag with an empty stomach made me more exhausted and furious. I came back to Jalori circle and had two aloo paratha.

Still, I was planning to go Udaipur. Because by the map it was showing only 4:30 hours which actually was not.

The shopkeeper told me it will take around 7-8 hours. Then why would I waste my time travelling in the day?

When I can spend a day here and travel at night. I booked a berth of 10:15 pm bus. Now I reminded myself to meet Panku who was eager to meet yesterday.

So I informed him about My arrival at his place. He called me to come to Ratanada. I booked a rental bike and reached in quick minutes.

The rider found me interesting and asked about my profession. I asked how much they earn a day. Nothing much.

I called Pankaj coz he asked me to come at Reliance fresh. He came out of his shop. I can recognise him by talking overcall, not by his face.

Because the display picture in Whatsapp seems like a teenage boy Where he is a youngster. He warmly welcomed.

Pankaj is a great Traveler who has travelled to many countries and will travel more in upcoming days.

Very interesting and jolly by nature. He owns his YouTube channel by "pankuworld". This is the first time in 10 months that I'm meeting a YouTuber.

He warmly welcomed me. Such a hosting and hospitality I received what else a guest can ask for. Despite more than that.

He couldn't roam around with me because his mom has just arrived that day and didn't want to handover his shop to his tired mom at least on the day she arrived.

Such a caring son he is. He has immense love for his family. Great person with pure thoughts.  He influenced me enough to make vlogs and upload on YouTube.

He was waiting for me to eat. But the two aloo paratha was sufficient for today. Still, he ordered pizza followed by ice cream, juice.

He knew very well how to treat his guests. We talked a lot over travel. He showed me several videos of his foreign travel.

Full of energy personality. By the evening he offered me his scooty to hang around, later with his friend.

I took his friend to the place where I wanted to. He never visited this place while residing here from past 15 years.

Thanked me a lot for bringing him here. We went to in front of Mehrangarh Fort. The stairs I stepped up and watched the sunset.

I wanted to see the sunset a d take pictures of Fort from the top. Took plenty of pictures. I gave him my camera with settings and angle and request him not to move a single inch and click pictures.

He exactly does the same what I told. While returning back I met an American there Who just started travelling India.

He was curious to know about Jaisalmer. So I informed him as much as I could.

We came down and after some distance, I asked him to stop, took some pictures from the southern direction.

We're having no helmets, so he was taking me through secret streets. Also, I wanted to go Umaid Bhawan but there is drill going in so it is restricted today. I came back to the shop.

Packed my bag and Pankaj dropped me to Olympic road Bus stand from where I've Bus to Udaipur.

"Inki shakal achi hai" a beggar in hard voice Pankaj pointing finger towards me. Well, a compliment from a beggar, something new and strange.

I boarded into Bus and left for Udaipur. This is a memorable day for me to remember.
